Photo Exclusive: Philip Bruce by Brian Selway

We are introducing Philip Bruce a 24 year old model from Stoke on Trent, United Kingdom.   Philip was photographed by Brian Selway in this great series of photos.  He gave us a personal interview, we found out a lot about Philip and hope you enjoy the read and photos.

Why did you enter modeling- A friend of mine recommended that I should give it a shot, and have just gone from there

What would your dream photo shoot be- A shoot for Men’s Fitness or Men’s Health magazine. Also published fitness/underwear shoots for books and magazines, and/or to be the face of a company (e.g. Calvin Klein)

Where in the world would you most like to live- Anywhere that is sunny and warm all year around.

What is your gym routine- Four weights sessions per week, split in to shoulders, biceps and triceps, chest and back, and legs. Teaching exercise classes (including spin, Aerobics, HIIT, and Aqua) pretty much every day as part of my job. Goalkeeper training whenever possible.

Male body grooming, what’s your thoughts, do you? What tips can you give our readers- I tend to shave my chest every couple of weeks or so, and especially a couple of days before a shoot. I use face scrubs once per week to help to control spots. I have also been advised to keep my hair quite long to open myself up to more opportunities of work, rather than having a shaven head)

If you had a £/$m what would you do with it- Make sure that I look after my family and friends in any way possible, as they are my number one priority.

Being an underwear model is no mean feat, everything is on display, what tips would you give an aspiring underwear model- To practice having shoots in order to build up your confidence in front of the camera, and to take care of your body by training hard and eating cleanly

How did you get your first break- By using social media (Facebook), which helped me to come in to contact with photographers and companies and arranging to do work, starting with TFP shoots to gain experience, and then building upwards.

How many pairs of underwear do you own- Around 15

Who is your idol- David Beckham, Randy Orton, Peter Schemichel, Gregg Plitt

What is your favorite quote- “You’ve got one shot at life, go out and give it your best shot, make things happen. Whether you succeed or you fail at something, never give up and never have any regrets of thinking what if”

What makes a perfect night out- Being around friends and people that I love, making new friends and having a laugh with people.

If you could have a one night stand with anyone in the world who would it be with- There’s quite a few to choose from here, but I would probably say either Cheryl Cole, Mila Kunis, or Rihanna

Of all the underwear brands what is your favorite and why- Calvin Klein- It’s a massive name and the quality of the products are fantastic.

About Brian Selway

Not much to say about me, to be honest. I’m a health care assistant in a hospice, looking after dying people, I used to model years ago, and found the whole lighting and arranging process way more interesting than the posing, so I gave up being a model, and joined the Merchant Navy..later, I started doing photography.
